The Clock Tower offices, in Haverthwaite, are owned by The Low Wood Products Company Ltd and built by business proprietor Julius Barratt.

The units are based in a building which dates back to 17th century.

Power for the building is generated by Archimedes hydro screw generators using surplus water from the River Leven via the old mill race that used to power the gunpowder works.

The River Leven hydro power station is being driven by two massive hydro screws built by the company behind the world’s largest Archimedes screw hydro power station in Teesside.
