SunPower Solar Panels

Super-efficient panels for small spaces

SunPower makes the most efficient solar panels on the market. That means that if you put a SunPower panel side by side with another panel of the same size, the SunPower panel will convert much more sunlight into electricity that you can use. A typical solar panel may have an efficiency between 11-15%, but SunPower makes panels with 18% and even 19% efficiency.

When would you choose SunPower panels?

If you don’t have much space on your roof for solar panels, you’ll want to choose the most efficient equipment possible. The installers that 1BOG partners with typically offer a choice of panels for different types of roofs, including SunPower panels as an option for smaller roofs. Although SunPower panels are more expensive than other brands, this can be offset  by the fact that fewer panels need to be installed, so you can save on installation costs.

Smart and pretty

You also might want to choose SunPower panels just because they look so good. The Signature Black line is designed without gridlines so it can blend into your roof better. It’s also darker in color than other solar panels.

How do SunPower panels work?

SunPower uses patented technology with “back-contact” solar cells that deliver three percent more surface area per cell. Because this cuts down on unused space, it boosts the efficiency of the solar cells in each panel. SunPower’s most efficient line, the E19 panels, use a patented anti-reflective coating to absorb even more sunlight.
